Dragon
The Chronicler's Assistant
A miniature dragon the Chronicler brought home from one of his journeys - small and playful, yet so quick-witted and loyal that it soon became his assistant. It spends most of its days up in the Chronicler's tower, perched in the library where it guards the books and sorts through loose notes, keeping order among the records of lands, lineages, legends and ancient mysteries. Every so often it slips out through a window to wheel over the rooftops, never failing to cause a great stir among the capital's residents. Here it sits atop its favourite stack - Chronicles, Lore & Legends, Realms & Peoples and Maps - quill in claw, exactly where it is happiest.
