Morphy
The Shapeshifting Memory
Conceived from Mnemosyne, the personification of memory, and the mimicking lyrebird, Morphy is grace from the waist up and pure liquid ink below - floating limbs and an inky lower body that forever drips and reforms. When it pleases, it folds itself down into a humble scroll, winged ears and all (the wings are entirely decorative, and proudly so). Morphy is never fixed, always transforming into the shape the story needs.
Definition
morphosis /ˈmɔːr.fə.sɪs/ n.
- A state of constant transformation.
- When your lower half is made of ink and refuses to stay still.
Examples
- The creature existed in perpetual morphosis.
- My notes keep changing shape, classic morphosis.
From the creator
concept was based on mnemosyne and lyrebirds. lower body is fluid/inky! same as their floating limbs. they transform into this scroll thingy.. as you can see, winged ears took too much space. what can i say.. i love non functional wings 🙂↕️
