Peacock Spider
The Storyteller's Display
The peacock spider raises its iridescent fan in a courtship dance. The fan is Chronicler's compass‑star displayed like a proud plume. It's a fitting display for a storyteller, and the design nods to Anansi, the spider trickster‑god of African myth who is also the keeper and weaver of all tales. (The little yellow bowtie is a quiet tip of the hat to a certain bookshop‑owning angel.)

From the creator
I chose a peacock spider because... well, firstly I thought the official icon looked cool as it's little fan they use for their mating dances, lol Secondly, there's a spider trickster god in African mythos (Anansi) who is a great storyteller and wise being. Loosely and respectively adopting that as symbolism for a program that was intentionally made for creatives to expand on their stories makes sense to me Lastly, I gave him a yellow bowtie because of Aziraphale. He owns a bookshop. And wears a bowtie. I've only watched s1, don't hurt me
